| Pharm-A-Line V & VI |
 |
| Medical Grade Clear
and Flexible Tubing For Chemical Service |
|
Pharm-A-Line
V and VI offer the benefit of a co-extrusion
which incorporates the best properties of two dissimilar
materials.
The liner or
contact surface is comprised of chemically
inert clear low density polyethylene material. The
outer shell is constructed of Ethylene vinyl acetate
(EVA) which provides the flexibility
and clarity the
tubing offers. Both materials are pharmaceutical
grade and have superior purity properties. Pharm-A-Line
V and VI will not be attacked by most solvents,
including acetone and unlike PVC, Silicone™ or
C-Flex™ there are no oils
or plasticizers that
can leach from the tubing.
The benefit
of Pharm-A-Line V or VI is a seamless, light
weight, clear and flexible tubing. Pharm-A-Line V and VI
meet the most stringent criteria for medical device
and biopharmaceutical transfer. The co-extruded tubing offers superior burst strength
over single walled, conventional thermoplastics such
as PVC.
While both Pharm-A-Line V and
VI are made of the same base materials, Pharm-A-Line
V is gamma treated which cross-links the material
for even higher thermal, chemical, and mechanical
performance.
